Our technology is able to auto-blacklist most of the non-mobile devices from the count, but there are a few rare cases - e.g. an AppleTV - where it's tricky to differentiate the Wi-Fi signal of the device from a smartphone.
With the Smart Detect feature, we analyze your data trend to see the lowest device count over the course of up to 1 week. This represents the devices which are always detected in the location. Simply choose the number of devices that you want us to deduct from your device count, and the adjustment will be reflected on your dashboard, timeline, and alert settings. You can either set the baseline as the number suggested by our algorithm, or adjust it to meet your preferences.
To locate this feature, look for the settings icon next to your property name and go to your location settings> Smart Detect. Don't forget to turn the feature ON by checking the box as shown above.
