Not only your detection range can be set, but BlueFox calibrates the sensor to the audience/traffic, in order to obtain precise data and analytics. This step needs to be completed in coordination with BlueFox and the Client, as soon as your sensor goes live.
Please follow the steps below to have your sensor calibrated:
1. Once your sensor(s) is active, contact your customer service manager to receive the data points and guidelines to collect ground truth data.
2. Using the guidelines communicated to you by the customer success team, record the ground truth data on-site. In other words, manually count the number of people for a specific time and duration (generally 2x15 minutes/sensor).
3. Forward the collected ground truth data to your customer success manager.
BlueFox will then further process the provided data and will update you once the calibration is done.
It may take from one to a couple of business days, depending on the use case.
The BlueFox Count, Social Distancing edition comes with a preset calibration and the above process is not mandatory; just contact your BlueFox customer success manager to enable your data access.
