Following your BlueFox purchase, you'll receive an activation code and instructions by email from BlueFox. First, create your BlueFox account following the link or via the BlueFox Count App.
Next, follow the in-App instructions to power up each sensor and establish Internet connectivity. You'll need these details for each location:

- Scan / Enter MAC Address (found on the back of the BlueFox sensor). Scan via the BlueFox Count App or enter its MAC address on the BlueFox Dashboard.
- Enter location Name
- Enter sensor's Time Zone
- Set the desired detection range (get info and tips).
- Enter location coordinates / physical address (optional), found on the BlueFox Dashboard.
The setup process takes approximately 10 minutes per sensor. We'll revisit Step 4 once you're sensor has been online for at least 30 minutes.
You should now see your sensor(s) in the BlueFox Dashboard and in your BlueFox Count App.

- Online indicates that your setup was successful
- Offline indicates that your sensor is unplugged or the Internet connection wasn't established.
Once your sensor(s) are online, contact you customer Success manager to schedule your activation call.
The whole process - including physically counting people to collect ground truth data - takes less than an hour per sensor for basic set up or a couple of hours for more sophisticated calibration.
For customers rolling out in hundreds or thousands of locations, we have solutions to be able to implement calibration settings to a large fleet of sensors without individual on-site calibration.
