Step 1 scan the QR code located on the back of your sensor.
Step 2 Select Wi-Fi option from the drop-down.
Step 3 Connect the Wi-Fi Dongle and Power on the sensor. (The Yellow Mongoose sensor does not require a Wi-Fi dongle for Wi-Fi Connectivity.)
Step 4 Configure the Wi-Fi Connection. This is a two part process.
Part 1 Connect to the Sensor Temporary SSID using the smart phone Wi-Fi settings.
The blinking light pattern the sensor indicates the Sensor SSID is being broadcast. Select “Next” the Sensor SSID will appear in a pop up window. The temporary SSID of your BlueFox sensor will be highlighted in yellow.
Part 2 Select “Shortcut to Settings” to navigate to the Smartphone Wi-Fi Connection Settings. Choose the Wi-Fi network corresponding to the SSID of your BlueFox sensor (highlighted in yellow). This will connect the Smart Phone directly to the Sensor and enable the BlueFox Count Mobile Application to configure the Wi-Fi Access for the sensor location.
Step 5 Return to the BlueFox Mobile Application and configure the Sensor Wi-Fi. Select the Wi-Fi SSID that corresponds to the local network and enter the SSID password.
Step 6 Give the sensor a location name. Select a location size.
Step 7 Configure Maximum Occupancy Alert
Step 8 Set the Sensor Location Time Zone and Select Finish.
